Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and the developer of Caller Name Announcer Pro ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License Grant

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Android devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, and in accordance with these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Free, Ad-Supported App

The App is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising. It does not currently offer in-app purchases or subscriptions. Ads are served by third-party partners described in our Privacy Policy. If we introduce paid features in the future, applicable purchase terms and Google Play Billing disclosures will be presented to you at that time and will be governed by the Google Play Terms of Service.

The App uses device permissions (such as contacts, phone state, SMS, and camera flash) to provide its features, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for using announcement features responsibly — for example, being mindful of the privacy of others when announcements are spoken aloud in public, and complying with all laws regarding safe use of your device while driving.

6. Your Content and Data

The App processes your contacts and messages on your device to provide announcements. You retain all rights to your own data. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of any information you value; uninstalling the App removes locally stored settings.

7. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, timely, error-free, or that every incoming call or message will be announced correctly. Announcement accuracy may depend on your device, contacts data, network conditions, and system settings.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, MISSED CALLS OR MESSAGES, OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. Because the App is free, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed USD 10.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the App or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

10. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. We may suspend or terminate your license at any time if you violate these Terms. You may terminate at any time by uninstalling the App. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnification) will survive.

11. Google Play Distribution

The App is distributed through the Google Play Store. This agreement is between you and the developer only, and not with Google. Google is not responsible for the App or its content. Your use of the App must also comply with the Google Play Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the developer's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence are not affected.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice or Google Play release notes. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
